The success of the Caledonia Basketball Program is a result of the enormous support it receives from local sponsors and people in the Terrace area. Without the support from these sponsors/individuals, the program would struggle to help as many people as it is able to assist now. Below is a list of many of the groups and people that have and continue to donate their time and effort. The past and present Kermodes would like to thank those people that have truly helped make a difference in their education. Hot House Restaurant Video Stop Gail and Dennis Burnip Central Flowers Don Diego's Restaurant Mix 590 – Terrace The Caledonia Basketball Program would in particular like to thank one individual who donated and contributed extensively to the program. Doug McKay was an incredibly helpful person who was always willing to help however possible. Many people were saddened in July, 2001 when Doug passed away. In memory of the countless contributions Doug made, "The Doug McKay Memorial Fund" has been created to enhance the opportunities in basketball for the children of Terrace. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Doug and his family. |
